Ronald Moerings Foundation presents yet another generous cheque to AVL

Last Friday, the Ronald Moerings Foundation paid a visit to the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek (AVL) (Netherlands Cancer Institute). A presentation was held on developments and progress in research into this terrible disease and, as last year, a generous cheque was handed over (from both the Ronald Moerings Foundation and the All the Way EFI Foundation).

Afterwards, the entire delegation also visited Celieplant/Bouquetnet at Japanlaan in Aalsmeer. There was a brief company presentation and dinner was provided. According to Peter Janmaat, it was attended by around 70 people, including a group of 47 cyclists who cycled to Prague this year (last year they went to Dublin).

Ronald Moerings Foundation
Ronald Moerings was the owner of aquatic plants nursery Waterplantenkwekerij R. Moerings from Roosendaal and was passionate about the AVL’s work and research to combat cancer. In 2014, he began initiating fund-raising campaigns. When Moerings was tragically killed together with a passenger in a car accident in November 2015, his friends and companies, inspired by his enthusiasm, decided to continue his work under the name Ronald Moerings Foundation.
